2021
7th Annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IM2C)

We are pleased to announce the results of the seventh annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IM2C). There were 27 countries/regions invited to participate in the 2021 IM2C and after the national/regional selection round, 51 teams competed in the international round of judging. All teams worked at their own schools during a 5 day period between March 8th and May 21st, 2021. Each team was given a modeling problem and then constructed their solutions. This year’s Who is the Greatest? Asked the teams to develop a model to select the greatest athlete in an individual sport. What does that really mean and how can that truly be determined?

A Complete Results Report, with designations for all participants, is available in portable document format (PDF).
