NEWS RELEASE
2020
6th Annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IM2C)

We are pleased to announce the results of the sixth annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IM2C). There were 30 countries/regions invited to participate in the 2020 IM2C and after the national/regional selection round, 54 teams competed in the international round of judging. All teams worked at their own schools during a 5 day period between March 9th and May 22nd, 2020. Each team was given a modeling problem and then constructed their solutions. This year’s problem Flash Sale asked the teams to develop a model that reorganized the layout of an electronic and appliance retail store.

A Complete Results Report, with designations for all participants, is available in portable document format (PDF).
