2023
9th Annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IM2C)

We are pleased to announce the results of the nineth annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IM2C). There were 31 countries/regions invited to participate in the 2023 IM2C and after the national selection round, 55 teams competed in the international round of judging. All teams worked at their own schools during a 5 day period between February 13th and May 1st, 2023. Each team was given a modeling problem and then constructed their solutions. This year’s problem Using Land: A valuable resource asked the teams to develop a model for the optimal land use planning and the balancing of community values and business profits.

A Complete Results Report sorted by team number, with designations for all participants, is available in portable document format (PDF).
