2015
1st Annual International Mathematical Modeling Challenge (IM2C)
On July 5, 2015, with the efforts by COMAP and NeoUnion ESC Organization as well as the local organizers, the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Education Division of Science and Mathematics Education and the University of Hong Kong Department of Mathematics, and a number of local sponsors among whom is Guangdong Qtone Education Co. Ltd., an award ceremony was held at the University of Hong Kong for all of the Outstanding teams and their advisors as well as local winning teams. The teams were asked to prepare short videos on their experiences. Given that this year’s problem was on movie scheduling, we thought that particularly appropriate. We present them here for your edification and enjoyment.
